Hello Everyone. I am ThElderGod, most people call me TEG.
I pulled a few strings to get this to happen, thanks CM STAFF.
I will be conducting some interviews here with the community.
Thats right I said community.
Interview of the Phenomenon Chaos with Cheeky Hobbit
Chaos has been a phenomenon on Pandemic. He has released a new story named Blinded Phoenix which has captured the heart of Conquest Mania and Pandemic.
A sequel to Chaos doesn't look to far off.
Apparently he confirmed the Sequel titled Chaos: Origins. It is said he will work on it once Blinded Phoenix is finished. I finally got a chance to interview him over Chaos:
TEG-Hello Cheeky
Greetings, TEG.
TEG-Chaos, a name that many will not forget. Cheeky, what on earth gave you the idea of writing of such demented things?
Cheeky-Well, I admittedly took a lot of inspiration from War of the Worlds, of which I am a massive fan. Not only that, but also other great sci-fi movies and books. I'm a self-confessed sci-fi fan to be honest. I always thought about writing a fan fic in that genre and one day just decided to go for it.
TEG-After you found out you had fans within a short time period what was your reaction?
Cheeky-Well, it was surprising if I'm being honest. It's kind of like what happened with The Last Stand of Bein Tol; I made it simply because it was something I wanted to do, but never did I anticipate that kind of response. It's flattering, really. It's what encouraged me to continue the story of Chaos with such a passion.
TEG-I have actually gone through and read every Chapter of Chaos since I discovered it rather late in the story. What made you end it?
Cheeky-I always feel that a great story is one that doesn't drag on. Knowing that I already had a sequel planned - I already had a rough idea of where the story was heading plot-wise - I felt that I had done all I could with the first story. It had been nearing its conclusion, and there are still plenty of questions left to be answered for the sequel.
TEG-So how has life been since Chaos was released?
Cheeky-It's been great. The reaction from the fans has been awesome and it's encouraged me to write even more. I'm currently working on a medieval fan fic, Blinded Phoenix, which has already had a lot of attention. Once again, I'm very grateful for that.
TEG-Is there actually going to be a sequel?
Cheeky-I can confirm that there will definitely be a sequel. It will be called Chaos: Origins, and will be released after the completion of Blinded Phoenix.
TEG-Now I understand a member named Jack Sparrow made a wonderful drawing depicting a creature from your story. You thought it was rather accurate? Did you think it influenced people enough for them to be drawing by their own will?
Cheeky-It was very accurate; a wonderful creation on JackSparrow's part. In fact, it was so good that I have recruited him to draw characters from Blinded Phoenix! The fact that someone was so enthralled by Chaos that they decided to draw something from it was very flattering.
TEG-This has been been fun Cheeky. Heres an off top question. What has pandemic turned to without Alastor?
Cheeky-The mood is rather low at this moment in time. Alastor was undoubtedly a big part of the forum, but life goes on in general. Hopefully it'll pick up once more. If not, there's always Conquest Mania!
There you have it, the author of Chaos. This man is a legend and will go far.
I for one admire him. He is what everyone wishes they were like.
Look for Chaos:Origins in the near future. Meanwhile read Blinded Phoenix.
Chaos 10/10

Behind Last Stand of the Jedi Order with Jonny
Last Stand of the Jedi Order...breathe taking. I first played this forum game on Pandemic sometime early October. Soon as I set eyes on its first page, I knew it was the best of it's kind. Somehow, it managed to go from just a game... to a ubiquitous must play. All I can say is wow..wow...
In the Star Wars: Last Stand of the Jedi Oder I played as a troubled character. His name is Christian Mathews, after killng his master Niphom, He was named The Hood. He stood out with yellow lightsabers and swore to destroy the Empire by any means possible. Slayer, Jonny's character manipulated his entire journey, and somehow Hood will survive to the sequel. A character named Bain later tuned out to be Hood's brother after Hood had done damage in creating the Legionaires. That brings me to my final question, what's behind Last Stand of the Jedi Order?

Interview with Jonny
TEG- Jonny, what made you think to create a forum game based on Star Wars through the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope?
Jon- Well, It started with Star Wars the Force Unleashed, I can't remember if it was out yet but definatly The Force Unleashed. I thought maybe I could do it just after Revenge of the Sith then the sequel to be just before A New Hope.
TEG- Did you ever expect it to stay alive for over 350 pages?
Jon- Absolutely not. I thought maybe it would last about 50 pages and that's it, but it's incredible that I have got 367 pages and more to come. But, It is ending very soon and since I was banned for a month, it started to die and now i'm back the game is moving slowly.
TEG- I know managing Forum Games can be hard. How'd you get through? Was there anyone that helped?
Jon- I did have help. When I was banned for 4 days, Warden and xxdombomxx managed it while I was gone. Then when I was banned for a month, Khamul took care of it. But when I wasn't banned, I didn't really need much help.
TEG- Slayer, I will remember that name for the rest of my life. Now when I think of the word slayer I think of Slayer with his mask. How'd you create such a great character.
Jon- Well, Slayer wasen't planned at all. I got in a little incident with another character who shot Jonny in the head twice. I diden't wanna leave my character behind so The Emperor found him and re-built him similiar to Darth Vader. Slayer is corrupt, evil and ignorant. He cares for no one but Vader and the Emperor and will try his hardest for the Empire to win.
TEG-Now I know events can be hard. But you introduced a completely different plot to Star Wars. What exactly is the ultimate weapon capable of?
Jon- Well, I didn't know what to do so I thought of an ultimate weapon. As you know, there are 4 pieces that make this. It has a double edged black lightsaber, it has a button that you press when you smash it through the center of the planet and blows it up and there was a button where you can drain people's souls but I scrapped it.
TEG- After the second battle of Hoth I believe, you almost killed Hood and Finrir, along with a few others. Other moments like this I will never forget. What were you thinking then?
Jon- I want to create alot of drama in it. Since you were all there I decided to try to kill you. I thought "Hey, let's create some drama and make them scared for there character" It obviously worked. But it failed causing a massive avalanche in Hoth making us running and screaming for our lives.
TEG- This epic tale has inspired me to write a Story over LSotJO. Is this one of your best works?
Jon- I guess so, I have only ever made two games (Not including The Quest for Alferro) and it is my most succesful topic I have ever made on the internet. Great Succes.
TEG-So when can we expect the sequel?
Jon- Soon, but not straight away. Once I finish this I will be focusing on my other game 'The Quest for Alferro'. I gotta mention this, Thank-you Cheeky for the name idea!
TEG- Will any of our favorite characters be brought into the sequel or mentioned?
Jon- Nope, only the main characters. Like Vader, The Emperor and a few others and people get the chance to play Starkiller themselves.
TEG- I understand you never liked the True Sith Idea. What's behind that?
Jon- I thought it was a bit naff, like how can there be 'True Sith'? Does this mean that Vader and the Emperor are Fake Sith? I don't think so. But I let it happen in this, just for Bleach. But in the sequel, there will be no 'True Sith' and there will be a neutral faction in it's place.
TEG- As you well know, Hood has his Legionaires. Does that effect the story? Or help it?
Jon- Do you wan't the truth? I never knew you had Legionaires in the first place. But i'm fine with it I guess.
TEG- Finally, any comments on LSotJO you'd like to address?
Jon- It's a great game and I am kinda sad it ends very soon. I like to thank all the players that took part and I hope you enjoy the sequel.
TEG- Thanks Jonny, Glad to have you.
Now, in conclusion: Last Stand of the Jedi order slashes it's way to a 9/10!

ThElderGod and the Unknown Project
I along with some other members of Conquest Mania are working on a project that may revolutionize forum games up to date. Some information has indeed been leaked among us. All I can say now is it will be a fleshed out Forum Game. I will not confirm it, it's not set in stone.
I have worked on many projects since becoming a Conquest Manian, but we aim higher than ever. I'm sure if we succeed others from both here and Pandemic will try their own versions.
We don't have a release date. It may take until February or longer. There is so much dept in the game.
I can tell you that fantasy lovers, and any fans of Cheeky Hobbit's, bleh32's, or mine will love game.
We are still early in the development project so ideas are flying around at the moment. I assure you all will be satisfied.
That is All I will say about the Unknown project, TEG out.
A Gondorian's Journey Interview with bleh32
TEG-ThElderGod*
TEG-So bleh, what inspired you to write this story about a Gondorian named Pelenaur?
bleh-Well, I believe it was the same day that BFMEII (Battle for Middle Earth II) arrived. I played the tutorial and I thought it was awesome. Then I started thinking, what if I took the tutorial from the viewpoint of a soldier, changed some things, and then show the war through the eyes of him?
TEG-Did you find it hard to dislay Pelenaur as a real life character?
bleh-I'll admit it was a little difficult. I tried to not worry too much about his personality. While it is important that we see Pelenaur's thoughts on the war, I also wanted to make sure we got a good glimpse of the action.
TEG-Is it geared for hard core Lord of the Rings fans?
bleh-I like to think that anyone could enjoy the story. It helps a lot if you are a hardcore LotR fan, but you don't need to know too much about LotR to enjoy the story.
TEG-From the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew it was original and unique. Any comments on this?
bleh-I wouldn't exactly call it original. I created a lot of Pelenaur's journey and what he did during it, but if it weren't for JRR Tolkien then my story would be set in a made up fantasy universe.
TEG-Its been a hit with both Pandemic and our very own Conquest Mania, you should be proud?
bleh-I'd say this is my best fan fic yet. A lot of the ones I write I lose interest in and stop updating them. That hasn't happened here. The fans enjoyed it a lot, and so did I, so I couldn't stop writing. I am quite proud of it.
TEG-As a writer myself, I know its hard to keep the readers wanting more. Is there any special techniques you used while writing?
bleh-I know the best way to keep your story alive is to have your readers wanting more. I often use the "cliffhanger" technique- adding an element of suspense right before the end of the chapter. While I'm sure the story would be good without these, it is not as much fun reading if you know what's going to happen.
TEG-Do you plan on writing more chapters than those found on Pandemic?
bleh-Definitley. I was perm banned on Pandemic, so I lost interest in the story for a while. But every now and then I would read it again, and think to myself how much fun it was writing it. I couldn't stay away from it.
TEG-My favorite part is when your character, Pelenaur landed on a beach. He was under fire just abruptly of exiting his raft. Is there anything behind the battle we wouldn't know?
bleh-The "beach landing" sequence was based in part of the D-day landings. I thought that a lot of my readers would expect the Dwarves and Gondor to win the battle, but I didn't want to take it that way. His narrow escape I thought was one of the most adrenaline pumping and exciting moments of the story.
TEG-What is your vision of A Gondorian's Journey?
bleh-As of now, I'm planning to conclude the story with the ending of the War. However, I may decide to write a sequel based on the 4th Age Campaigns of the South. Only time will tell
TEG-Is it less of what you had hoped?
bleh-It is more than what I had hoped for. I am very glad it has turned out the way it has. Even I am sometimes surprised by what Pelenaur does. He carries out the actions, I am simply the recorder.
TEG-You are by far one of my favorite authors of all time. How'd you create such a name for yourself.
bleh-Thank you! I've always enjoyed writing. I started out by writing simple stories in my English classes. A few years later, I started writing into my city newspaper about political events. I've always been interested in fantasy and war series, so the best way to peek into these imaginary universes is by writing.
TEG-I understand you were recently banned from Pandemic. Any Comments? How'd did that affect your daily activities?
bleh-Excuse me if I go on a bit of a rant here, but the main problem I think, was that some people there were offended by just about anything I said. I always argued this point with Alastor, the site admin, but he always contended that I kept the flame wars going. To tell the truth, I could have toned down my statements and when I look back on some of what I say I was immature and hotheaded. Unfortunatley, when people take offense at whatever you say there isn't too much you can do.
Thankfully, CM was set up a little bit before my perm ban. I'm glad that I'm able to stick with the best of the Pandemic community and it's been much more fun here than at Pandemic.
TEG-I haven't known Alastor too long. I joined in early May, any comments on whats become of Pandemic?
bleh-In my opinion, the site's main problems came from the large amount of minors there. I myself am a minor, but unfortunatley many there were outraged whenever you disagreed with them. I was very annoyed when people told me "you're always so negative so just leave". I think it's important to respect all view points- even if they don't agree with yours. Pandemic, in my opinion, has been getting worse. It seemed that as the release date drew nearer, the forums got worse, probably because of the large influx of new members and the old ones leaving.
Thank you for interviewing me, TEG. I enjoyed it.
It was a pleasure bleh. That concludes this article. I give A Gondorian's Journey a Whopping 8/10!
